Relax is one of the nicer coffee houses I have discovered in Hull. There are more than enough seats for enjoying a coffee in comfort. |
It is part of Newland Avenue, a bustling student street. To get your bearings, you will find it near the railway bridge.
It houses the largest collection of leather sofas this side of DFS, and as a result it is certainly cosy and comfortable. There is some pleasant art on the walls, and a strangely charming haphazard style. Most importantly perhaps there is a big range of coffees and other tempting drink options including fruit smoothies.
It is also very friendly, doesn't seem to get too busy (based on a couple of visits), and all in all not a bad place to sit in peace with a coffee.
